MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Project Manager to join our team.

The Technical Project Manager will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to drive agile project management and ensure the successful delivery of complex initiatives. This role is focused on managing non-waterfall projects, providing the operational planning, establishment, and evaluation necessary to support multifaceted programs within the enterprise.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading the responsible development and implementation of assigned projects while managing operational, administrative, and human resources functions.
  • Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports to ensure mission alignment.
  • Conducting regular project meetings and maintaining responsibility for comprehensive project tracking and analytical reporting.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and performing rigorous reviews of all project deliverables.
  • Managing the integration of vendor tasks and tracking vendor deliverables to ensure contract compliance and technical accuracy.
  • Providing technical and analytical guidance to the project team while serving as the principal point of liaison with external constituencies.
  • Recommending and taking decisive action to direct the analysis and solutions of complex problems as they arise.
  • Providing day-to-day technical and professional leadership as appropriate to the area of expertise to maintain project momentum.
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, Business Administration, or a related professional discipline.
  • Experience providing services similar in required tasks, scope, and complexity within an agile environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing non-waterfall projects and implementing agile methodologies.
  • Proven ability to develop detailed project documentation, including resource plans and schedules.
  • Experience leading technical teams and managing vendor integrations for multifaceted projects.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
  • Experience with the Sponsor’s primary cyber risk and compliance automation tools.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is preferred.
     

Clearance Requirements:

  • An active Secret clearance is required.
     

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $141,200.00-$223,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
