- Stay ahead of competitive and industry trends in platforms, data products, and developer ecosystems.Partner with Product and GTM teams to understand how Protect, Passport, Pulse and other product lines depend on the Pindrop Platform today and what they will need next.
- Regularly engage with customers and partners who consume platform capabilities (e.g., Pindrop Intelligence APIs, data services) to understand use cases, workflows, and unmet needs.
- Manage organization goals, business metrics, and KPIs for the platform, including adoption, reliability, performance, and developer experience.
- Operate internal and external steering forums to align stakeholders on priorities and investments for the platform.
Vision & roadmap for the Pindrop Platform
- Set the overall vision, strategy, and success measures for the Pindrop Platform as a product in its own right.
- Define how shared platform capabilities (data, AI/ML services, APIs, integrations, observability, security, entitlements, and configuration) evolve to support Protect, Passport, Pulse and future products.
- Own and maintain prioritized platform roadmaps, balancing foundational investments (scalability, reliability, security, cost efficiency) with new capabilities and externalized features like Pindrop Intelligence.
- Write clear user and system narratives that describe how internal product teams, external developers, and end customers will interact with Pindrop Platform capabilities.
- Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements, and constraints for platform initiatives and releases.
- Engage with executive and cross-functional stakeholders to obtain buy-in, make tradeoffs, and raise escalations when needed.
Execution & delivery
- Drive end-to-end execution for platform initiatives, from discovery and design through delivery and launch.
- Work with engineering and engineering leadership to design and deliver high-quality, continuous releases of platform services, APIs, and data products.
- Manage platform capabilities across their lifecycle, from initial MVPs to scaled, hardened services adopted across multiple products.
- Integrate new technology from research and product teams into the platform in a way that is reusable, well-abstracted, and easy to adopt.
- Collaborate with go-to-market partners to position platform capabilities (such as Pindrop Intelligence) and accelerate customer adoption and time to value.

Who you are
- You are passionate about platforms, APIs, and developer experiences, and you understand how strong platform strategy accelerates product teams and unlocks new customer value.
- You care deeply about security, reliability, and performance, and you are comfortable working in a space that spans voice, identity, fraud, and AI/ML-powered intelligence.
- You have a high degree of integrity and trustworthiness.
- You have a strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility in accomplishing the organization’s goals.
- You are entrepreneurial with a high level of energy, dedication, and an unrelenting drive to succeed and win.
- You are resilient in the face of challenges, change, and ambiguity.
- You are optimistic and believe that you can make a problem into a solution.
- You are resourceful, excited to uncover innovative solutions and teach yourself something new when needed.
- You take accountability, do the things you say you’ll do, under-promise and over-deliver.
- You are nimble and adaptable when priorities change and continue to see the “forest through the trees”.
Your skill-set
- 5–7 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with significant time spent on platform, infrastructure, or shared services (e.g., data platforms, API platforms, developer platforms, or similar).
- Experience working with cloud-native architectures and highly distributed systems; familiarity with how platform decisions impact reliability, performance, cost, and security.
- Proven experience defining and executing go-to-market strategy for platform or API / data products, including positioning, packaging, pricing, and launch planning.
- Demonstrated ability to partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering to translate platform capabilities into clear value propositions, customer narratives, and enablement.
- Experience creating and scaling internal platforms that serve multiple product teams or business units, OR externalized platforms / APIs used directly by customers and partners.
- Technical background or strong technical fluency; you can work closely with engineering on APIs, data models, integration patterns, and system tradeoffs.
- Experience within a SaaS company required; experience in security, identity, fraud, or risk is a plus but not required.
- Proven track record of successful product or platform launches and meaningful impact on adoption, usage, or business outcomes.
- Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to dig into details, understand edge cases, or help unblock teams.
- Strong leadership and communication skills — you can bring clarity to complex technical topics and drive alignment across engineering, product, GTM, and executive stakeholders.
- Transparent and open about what works and what doesn’t; you use data and feedback to iterate quickly.

- Collaborate with GTM partners to shape positioning, messaging, and launch plans for at least one upcoming platform or Pindrop Intelligence enhancement.
Within 90 days, you’ll
- Fully own a meaningful slice of the Pindrop Platform roadmap and associated KPIs.
- Drive at least one platform initiative from definition through execution, partnering closely with engineering and GTM teams.
- Establish lightweight rituals (reviews, steering, reporting) that bring clarity to platform priorities, tradeoffs, and status.
- Identify and propose medium-term platform and GTM bets that can unlock new value for products and customers.
