Job Description
About the Staff Product Manager, B2B Employers at Headspace:
We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to define and execute the product strategy for Headspace’s offerings specifically tailored for B2B Employers. You will be responsible for identifying high-impact opportunities within the employer ecosystem, leading the product lifecycle for solutions that drive member acquisition and engagement through employer partnerships, and ensuring our offerings meet the rigorous needs of employers, including clinical efficacy, data security, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of the US healthcare landscape, product management excellence, and a passion for expanding access to mental health and wellness. At Headspace, product leaders are expected to model experimentation with purpose, share feedback with care, and a deep commitment to the member journey.
What you will do:
- Own the B2B Employers product roadmap, prioritizing features and integrations that accelerate payer sales cycles, improve implementation efficiency, and maximize member adoption.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis on the US payer landscape to identify unmet needs, competitive gaps, and opportunities for Headspace to become a core benefit offering.
- Define clear, actionable product requirements for core B2B solutions, including health plan eligibility verification, custom reporting/analytics for employers, and integration into existing health system workflows.
- Partner with the Consumer Product team to align on and ship unified Headspace offerings that serve both B2B and consumer members.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Clinical, Legal, and Marketing teams to ensure successful launches and adoption of B2B Employers product features.
- Work closely with Legal and Security teams to ensure all health plan-facing products adhere to relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and Headspace's data governance standards.
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the B2B Employers portfolio, such as payer adoption rates, member engagement within plan segments, and contribution to enterprise bookings.
What you will bring:
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 2+ years focused on B2B, Enterprise, or Health Tech products.
- Proven track record of defining, launching, and iterating on successful products in a regulated industry, ideally serving the health plan or payer market.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, capable of translating complex business and regulatory problems into clear product roadmaps and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on API-driven platforms and integration requirements.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience with digital health in the D2C/B2C sectors.
- Direct knowledge of the payer or managed care organization ecosystem, including sales cycles and key decision-makers.
- A passion for mindfulness, mental health, and the mission of Headspace.

Privacy Statement
All member records are protected according to our Privacy Policy. Further, while employees of Headspace (formerly Ginger) cannot access Headspace products/services, they will be offered benefits according to the company's benefit plan. To ensure we are adhering to best practice and ethical guidelines in the field of mental health, we take care to avoid dual relationships. A dual relationship occurs when a mental health care provider has a second, significantly different relationship with their client in addition to the traditional client-therapist relationship—including, for example, a managerial relationship.
As such, Headspace requests that individuals who have received coaching or clinical services at Headspace wait until their care with Headspace is complete before applying for a position. If someone with a Headspace account is hired for a position, please note their account will be deactivated and they will not be able to use Headspace services for the duration of their employment.
Further, if Headspace cannot find a role that fails to resolve an ethical issue associated with a dual relationship, Headspace may need to take steps to ensure ethical obligations are being adhered to, including a delayed start date or a potential leave of absence. Such steps would be taken to protect both the former member, as well as any relevant individuals from their care team, from impairment, risk of exploitation, or harm.
